Evelyn Hoskins-Bryant

Evelyn Hoskins-Bryant graced this earth for eighty-three and one-half years, born the youngest of eight children to Claborne and Irene Tyler-Hoskins, July 20, 1937, LaGrange, AR. Later, her family moved to Oak Forest Community, where she attended Mt. Moriah Baptist Church and during her membership there, she learned about Jesus and that she needed to receive Him as her personal Savior. She confessed a hope in Jesus Christ later. Evelyn attended Lee County public schools where she completed the eleventh grade. During her senior year, she relocated to St. Louis, MO where she completed her high school education and received her diploma and a few years later, settled in Los Angeles, CA. She was a trained and licensed beautician. Los Angeles is the place where she called home for more than 50 years. Evelyn was an outgoing, fun-loving and kind person who loved her family and in her later years would express her love by remembering and acknowledging her nieces and nephews with a birthday card and/or phone call along with a love gift. Both her parents and siblings preceded her in death. She leaves to cherish her memories, a loving and dear nephew, Gary Hoskins, Palm Desert, CA; a sister in-law, Cynthia Hoskins￾Raul, Hercules, CA; other nieces and nephews are Rosetta Gillespie, Chicago, IL, Alice S. Dedmon, Irene J.Gillespie, Oshian Gillespie, Jr., Evelyn Allen, Claborne Gillespie, Ira J.Gillespie, Winnie K.Gillespie and Quester Quarles, Little Rock, AR; Napoleon Gillespie, Julia Bell Gillespie, Marianna, AR; Minnie E.Gillespie, Springfield, IL, Natta L. Coleman, New Orleans, LA and Ollie GeneGillespie, Omaha, NE; Michael Hoskins, Woodbury, MN, Renita Hoskins, Anita Hoskins, and Cherlyn Akiens, Memphis, TN; Paulette Davis, Herbert Broadway and Angela M.
